Enterprise Infrastructure

The layer everything else depends on

Compute, storage and virtualisation designed for the load you actually have — and a refresh plan so you are not making decisions in an outage.

  • Server and storage
  • Virtualisation
  • Hyperconverged platforms
  • Migrations and refresh

How it fits together

Infrastructure decisions outlive the people who make them

A server platform bought this year will still be carrying the business in five. That makes sizing, licensing and support arrangements worth getting right the first time, and it makes an honest capacity conversation more valuable than a discount.

The diagram is illustrative. It shows the shape of the capability rather than any specific customer environment.

Overview

In practice

We design, supply, install and support enterprise compute and storage, on-premises and in hosted environments. We are vendor-agnostic by preference: the right platform depends on your workloads, your existing skills and your licensing position, not on which vendor we happen to sell most of.

For organisations with ageing estates, we run infrastructure health assessments that produce a documented risk and refresh position — useful ammunition when capital budget is being argued over.

What changes

Outcomes we are measured on

The point of the work, stated as results rather than product names.

01

Capacity that matches the workload

Sizing based on measured utilisation rather than a vendor's default configuration.

02

Consolidated footprint

Virtualisation and hyperconverged platforms that reduce physical estate, power draw and support surface.

03

Planned refresh, not emergency replacement

Lifecycle and firmware tracking so end-of-support dates arrive on a roadmap, not as a surprise.

04

Migrations without the weekend horror story

Staged cutovers with tested rollback, run outside business hours where required.

How we deliver

A sequence, because order matters here

Each stage produces something you can review before the next one starts.

Measure

Utilisation, growth trend, dependency and support status across the current estate.

Design

A sized platform with a licensing position, resilience model and a clear cost of ownership over five years.

Implement

Build, test, migrate and document — with agreed change windows and defined acceptance criteria.

Maintain

Firmware, patching, monitoring and periodic health reviews under a support agreement.

Questions

The things people ask before signing anything

No. We work with the major enterprise platforms and recommend based on workload fit, your existing environment, support availability in South Africa and total cost. Where you already have a standard, we work within it.

Sometimes. That is exactly the comparison an infrastructure assessment should produce — a five-year cost and risk view of refresh versus migration versus hybrid, using your actual utilisation figures.

Yes. We start with a documented handover assessment so we know what we are inheriting before we accept responsibility for it.

Yes, including racking, cabling and commissioning. Licensed electrical work and specialist civil work are delivered through qualified partners.
