Accountability
If it is in our scope, it is our problem. We do not hand clients a reference number and call it progress.
About Define IT
Define IT Solution was established in 2016 and has been providing IT services to private and public sector organisations ever since.
Our story
Define IT Solution started in 2016 doing two things: managing IT environments for businesses that had outgrown ad hoc support, and building software for organisations whose processes did not fit a packaged product.
Those two capabilities turned out to complement each other. Clients who trusted us with their infrastructure asked whether we could fix the application problem too. Clients we had built systems for asked who was going to host, secure and back them up. The service portfolio grew because clients pushed it outwards, not because a strategy document said it should.
Today the practice spans managed services, cloud, cybersecurity, enterprise infrastructure, networking, connectivity, unified communications, data protection, identity and software development. The founding idea has not changed: a technology partner should be able to answer for the whole environment, not just the part that is convenient.
We work with private companies, public sector organisations, multi-site businesses and established SMEs, and our delivery model is remote-first with onsite attendance arranged where the work requires it.
How we work
If it is in our scope, it is our problem. We do not hand clients a reference number and call it progress.
We say when something is a bad idea, when a quote is unreasonable, and when a problem was ours. It is more useful than agreement.
Environments we support are written down — assets, diagrams, licences, runbooks — and the records belong to the client.
Controls, processes and tooling sized to the organisation. Enterprise process imposed on a fifty-person business helps nobody.
